NETWORK (NET) TRANSMISSIONS

A)   Directive Transmissions. Aircrew and TAC C2 will use the call sign of the entity being directed.

Directed by VIPER 1: “VIPER 2, TARGET NORTH GROUP.”

B)   Interrogative Transmissions. Calls that are requests for a response will use “[entity speaking to], [entity speaking], [message]” format.

 

C)   Descriptive Transmission. Calls that provide information that does not require a response. Descriptive call will use the same format as B) interrogative.

D)   Relaying a Call.

(1)  The communication format is “[entity speaking to], relay, [call sign of entity call being related]”.

(2)  Do not include the relaying entity’s call sign.
