Flight Training:
- Flight Objectives (90 minutes)
- Conduct pre-flight checks on the aircraft, ensuring all systems are operational.
- Execute the following ground operations:
- Taxi Procedures:
- Taxi the aircraft following designated routes safely and efficiently, maintaining awareness of surroundings.
- Communicate effectively with ground control for taxi instructions and clearances.
- Demonstrate proper use of brakes, rotor engagement timing, and smooth transitions during taxiing.
- Warm-up Operations:
- Practice engine systems check while on the ground, and monitor system indications.
- Conduct an engine run-up as part of pre-flight checks.
- Takeoff Preparation:
- Complete final checks before takeoff, ensuring readiness for flight.
- Execute final crew briefings, discussing roles for takeoff and initial climb procedures.
- Perform takeoff and transition into flight operations, applying knowledge from ground procedures.
Post-Flight Training:
- Debriefing (30 minutes)
- Review the execution of ground operations against established objectives.
- Discuss performance during taxiing, including any challenges faced or safety considerations.
