Course Description
1.1 Course Title - 75th vFS Initial Qualification Training
1.2 Course Objective - To graduate A-10 pilots and Basic Mission Qualified (BMC) wingmen with a basic understanding of A-10C employment fundamentals. The emphasis is on developing wingman responsibilities, situational awareness, judgment/decision making, and flight integrity.
1.3 General Description - This course is the transition course between 455vAEW/IFF, and Mission Qualification Training (MQT). The course provides four specialized training tracks based experience and previous qualifications.
- Track A - Full Course
- Track B - Requalification Course
- Track C - AG Focus / Retrain Course
- Track D - Consolidated Fast Track
1.4 Location - 75th vFS, Nellis AFB
1.5 Duration - 180 Training Days
1.6 Course Entry Prerequisites
- IQT student pilots will be graduates of either 455vAEW/469th vTS Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals Course, or may be waivered IAW 455 vAEW Instruction.
- 455th vAEW Wing Orientation Completed.
1.7 Status Upon Completion - Graduates are qualified to attend Mission Qualification Training.
