Mission Objectives:

  1. Introduce defensive BFM exercises.
  2. Introduce defensive BFM from medium range setups.
  3. Practice mission tasks listed below.

1. Takeoff
2. Departure
3. Tactical formation
4. Armament switchology/FENCE check
5. G-awareness turns
6.* Pursuit curve/ranging exercise
7.* Reversal/scissors exercise
8.* Defensive BFM — Perch setups (6,000-foot)
9. Landing

Special Instructions:

  1. During the reversal/scissors, the bandit provides a high LOS overshoot (without excessive airspeed) and attempts to force a scissors.
