Prerequisites: SL-1, SS-2, S-3 (Track C), SA-6 (Track B and C), S-2 (Track B)

Mission Objectives:

  1. Introduce level and popup range procedures and patterns.
  2. Introduce level and popup weapons delivery events/parameters.
  3. Introduce Turn/Level Turn (TMLT).
  4. Practice mission tasks listed below.

1. Takeoff
2. Departure
3. LATF
4. Armament switchology/FENCE check
5. *Level and popup range procedures and patterns
6. *Level and popup weapons delivery events/parameters
      a. Level bomb
      b. 10-degree popup attack
      c. 20-degree popup attack
7. Safe escape maneuver
      a. Level bomb - *Turn/Level Turn (TMLT)
      b. 10-degree pop -*Turn/Level Turn (TMLT)
      c. 20-degree pop - Climbing Safe Escape Maneuver (CSEM)
8. Error analysis
9. Landing

Special Instructions:

  1. TMLT is a familiarization event and is not required for graduation. If not accomplished, annotate the student's gradesheet, unaccomplished task log and training report.
