Special Instructions:
- This sortie is intended to give the A/OA-10 student an opportunity to put it all together and use skills learned in low altitude operations and surface attack phases. Students should be able to navigate to the range and find the target. Moving map/MFD route display should not be used unless difficulty of route requires its use (i.e. lack of airspace with turn points that only require basic LATN skills. Sortie is not meant to teach advanced LATN skills.). LATN/FRA should be fairly short to allow fuel/time for weapons delivery events still needed, as determined by student proficiency and
weather.
- Proficiency is not required in 20-degree LALD, 30-degree DB, or 20-degree popup attacks if attempted on only one sortie.
- CTS must be maintained on S-6. Double regression rule does not apply to mission specific events.
- A-10 students will make a landing as required to arrive at the FTU on the start date with 45-day landing currency.
