HB-5

Mission Objectives:

1. Demonstrate proficiency in high aspect BFM.
2. Demonstrate proficiency in CRM tasks.
3. Practice mission tasks listed below.

Specific Mission Tasks:

1. Takeoff
2. Departure
3. Tactical formation
4. Armament switchology/FENCE check
5. G-awareness turns
6. High aspect BFM
7. Instrument approach and landing (as required)

Special Instructions:

1. At least 4 instrument approaches must have been accomplished after H-1 and by the completion of HB-5 for Track A students.
2. Once the student has demonstrated proficiency against the limited bandit, G and (or) power setting
   may be increased.
3. If graded NE-SNP, HB-5 will not be reflown solo.
